Services
Individual Room Design
I offer two flexible packages to suit the way you want to work together.
Concept Option - for clients who prefer to be in full control of ordering and tracking items but want a strong creative foundation.
I provide a complete design concept - including space planning, mood boards, color and material palettes and furniture recommendations. You get to take over ordering and tracking and then we’ll set a date for installation.
Turnkey Option - for clients who want a seamless, start-to-finish experience.
In addition to full design concept, I’ll handle everything else including sourcing, procurement, contractor coordination, and installation - delivering a turnkey space without the stress.
Each option contains:
An in-depth consultation focused on your design needs, priorities and budget*.
Detailed design boards for each room we work on including the following, as needed: paint colors, wallpaper, fabric schemes, lighting suggestions, furniture, and home decor.
A 2D colored description of each scheme and an explanation of the choices made.
Samples to see and feel the fabrics and finishes in person before committing.
Two rounds of revisions before giving your final OK.
*Minimum project budget required
Creative consultations and hourly rate - for smaller projects or when you need a bit of extra help brainstorming, etc., I can offer my hourly rate to reach your project goals.

Meet Kate
My love story with design began when I was a kid watching my mom run her own interiors small business. She transformed our home into an extension with beautiful objects and backdrops everywhere, weaving items from our family travels and interests into vignettes and nooks throughout. It was a magical environment in which to grow up.
As a student in a graduate program studying public policy, my focus turned outward and I explored the transformational power of design in public spaces. Later, alongside designers in Brooklyn, New York I studied pottery, welding and woodworking.
Now my focus has come full circle. I design to emphasize both comfort and comfortability; a sturdy, familiar feeling of home where you live in the here and now while embracing items or materials that provide a bit of that nostalgia magic from your past. We all deserve homes that give us both.
